Ok I got the kit in, and after the stupid manual linkage rod slipped loose during the install and scared the crap out of us (no reverse or neutral)....we got it back in place and took RAIF out for the test run. At first we hung in 1st and 2nd, but finally with a click things started shifting right thru 3 & 4. Common problem so I have read. RAIF is running great and shifting strong in a gears...

So on to my question...in the 1-2 acumulator set up, you could go with 1 to 3 washers. 1 for a litghter smoother 1-2 shift and 3 for the firmest shift. Directions said go with 2 so I did. Not as firm as I would have thought. I want to go up to the 3rd washer...

So what are you guys running on your 1-2 shift accumulator? How many washers? What do you think of it? I think I want to go to 3... Anyone running 3?

The accumulator is completely blocked of in my full race 700r4 this is a new trick Darrell young is doing to increase pressure. The valve body is also modified to do this.
