need some help on rockers and rods

need some help on rockers and rods

my buddy asked me to help him on rebuilding his top end on his 87 camaro. its a 2.8 and we got the heads on and now im drawing a blank on how to set the rockers and rods the right way. give me some tips so i can get this stuff done.

Have him drop the $15 for the Haynes 82-92 Camaro book, it tells you how to adjust the valves. You need to spin the crank to get some valves in alignment; then you tighten those rocker nuts, turn the crank again to set other valves, tighten those nuts, etc. And see this message for tips: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=165647
