help please!!!

My car the other day started to run funny. Its a 1988 Camaro with the 2.8 v6 and a five speed. Here's what it does; between 2000 and 3000 rpms, the car feels like it wants to die like a miss or something along that nature. I hooked a scan tool up to it and it said my MAF sensor was freaking out. So I replaced it and it didn't fix it. I go to Linn-Benton Community College and my instructor in my automotive class can't figure it out either. If you might know what is going on, I would glady apperciate it cause my pocket book is getting smaller every time I replace something and so I can't work on my other Camaro. You can also email me at iroc_z2814@hotmail.com.

It could also be your MAF burnoff relay, which if it's bad, can tell the computer that there is something wrong with the MAF.

There's no MAF burnoff relay on 2.8's. It's a v8 thing only. Did the scan tool still say the MAF was bad after you replaced it?
