hmm
i dont now what the code 35 meens but the dimming may be caused by an alternater starting to go bad making it not be able to keep the battery charged and ur ignition system is starving for power making it hesitate and stall. (just a guess)

Don't know what would cause a code 35. Sounds like a problem with the computer trying to control the idle..or the idle stop screw out of position..I have no idea.
But as far as your main problem, I'd go with what z28 said.

code 35 is IAC
Hi,
code 35 is IAC (Idle Air Control)...the air control valve is probably off position...never did it myself but heard several times that it was very easy to set, you just need a screw driver to adjust the valve position...
Hope it helps...
Best Regards,
John

IAC valves are a very easy replacement even if you can't fix it yourself..
So that's what the code 35 is for?? The website here just says "Idle speed cannot be set to desired rpm".....I had no idea what in the hell that's supposed to mean, but I think you're right, because I don't see a single IAC code anywhere on this list!
