how do i get my shift **** off my manual transmission shifter????????????????????
i tried to unscrew it and the while shaft spun seems wierd but car shifts fine?
help, please help, do not want to use a pipe wrench on my nice shift shaft.

roflmao! Wow... I never heard of that one... you might want to invest in a new whole shifter, much less a ****.
Grab the shaft, then grab the ball and unscrew it. just hold the shaft REALLY tightly. Or, find someone you know with a nice, strong grip, and have htem hold the shaft two handed, while you unscrew the ****.
