Just some guesses...

1. Could've put the plug wires on in the wrong order, firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6

2. Could've turned the distributor body when you installed the new module, throwing the timing off

3. Might not've seated the cap correctly, or might not've bolted it down all the way. Both would cause the cap to wobble around and mess up the spark

4. Could be a cracked cap; sometimes that happens with a new one

5. Spark plug wires might not be clicked down all the way on the cap... also check the coil wire (coil to distributor cap center)

6. Might've forgotten to put the heat grease on the new module and it burned itself up, but I don't think it would've burned itself up right away, it'd probably take a day or two

My problem with that, was a bad ignition coil.

Easy thing to check, is spark arc - start your car up in the dark, and watch under the hood. If you see a light show, there's your problem!

One other thing - #1 is on the passanger side, not the driver's side.
