quick question

i have a ac that doesn't work (i don't really want an ac) can i cut the belt ? will it effect the comp any? is it worth doing or is it not hurting anything by leaving it?

Um.. what year?

If it's a pre 87 (V belt) no problem.

If it's a serpentine belt... uh... I would recommend against cutting the belt... yeah... lemme think about that... yeah, gonna recommend against cutting it.
