I was looking through an Automotive news magazine articles from the 80s and thought you guys might be interested in what the stock weight of the V6s were.

Curb weight = 3083 with 173 ci V6.


I had mine weighed with me in it at a farm scale about 3 years ago, the weight of mine came out to be 3203 +/- a few lbs, (I'm 115 lbs by the way).

I try to weigh any thing I add or take off in my car, just to see how much weight I am adding or subtracting to a particular area.


I thought it might give you guys a general idea to figure out how much your car would weigh.
