700r4->T5 swap?(no response to someone else's post on tranny board)

Ok, i found a T5 for my 87 camaro 2.8->3.4 and was wondering exactly what i need to do the swap. As of right now, i don't know all that much about the tranny, just that it is from a camaro 3.1L and i should be able to get everything i need from the donor car b/c the owner is converting to an automatic.
Can someone tell me exactly what parts i need from the donor car and what parts should be replaced to do it right?

In general required order of removal...
Donor:
  • Center Console Top Plate (or rape by YearOne)
  • Upper Shifter Boot (if not, get raped by YearOne)
  • Shifter Extension (If not, build custom unit with your dad on a metal lathe.. or am I unique?)
  • Lower Shifter Boot (if not, get raped by YearOne)
  • Transmission -> Bellhousing Bolts (If not, dealer has specs. Got mine from Ace Hardware)
  • Transmission
  • Clutch Hydraulics (if you can get the assembly out without breaking it.. the line is PLASTIC. If not, $180 for new assembly through dealership)
  • The little mounting bracket for the clutch fluid resevoir
  • Bellhousing
  • Clutch Fork
  • Flywheel (If resurfacable. If beyond spec, get a new one.)
  • Flywheel cover
  • Measurements for the shifter cutout
  • Brake/Clutch Pedal Assembly (Straight over trade, baby)
  • Clutch Saftey Switch

New:
  • Clutch Kit (Disc + Pressure Plate + Throwout Bearing)
  • Pilot Bushing
  • Flywheel -> Crank Bolts (Torque-To-Yield, Non-Reusable, Dealer Item)
  • Pressure Plate -> Flywheel Bolts (Torque-To-Yield, Non-Reusable, Dealer Item)

You could have searched for this, however this is the most comprehensive list I've posted... If I forgot something, someone please point it out.

one more thing- when I did mine, I managed to cut the reverse light harness about 3 feet from the tranny of a donor car. Just find the two wires for reverse lights, splice them up and plug 'em in

Was I not supposed to reuse some of those bolts when I did my clutch? Oops.

The pressure plate -> flywheel may not be TTY.. but I wouldn't use them off a donor car either. The flywheel -> crank are definitely TTY though.

I'll remember that for next time. I did torque them to spec. But 3 years and no probs.
