Transmission: auto

Car wont speed up when half a tank is left

I have a friend whose v6 wont go over 35mph once his gas tank is half empty. The car just wont speed up.

Axle/Gears: GU5/G80/J65

fuel pump

Replace with a pump from a 350, or a corvette fuel pump.

both have been replaced and still got the problem

Engine: 2.8 V6 POWER, 3.5L V6 N/A

Transmission: T-5, CVT

Check the fuel gauge. Maybe the tank is actually empty and the car has stalled.
