it's back :(
My hesitation has returned, this time with a vengence...the way i'm seeing it, if it continues to get worse at the rate that it's doing it, then i might be in serious trouble by the time the weekend rolls around, that and i'm needing to get back home next week from school. So, today will have to begin a major search for the culprits. On my break from work 8 mins from now i'm gonna go to autozone, pick up some parts that might help in the quest to fix the problem. Thinking i'll get a factory replacement coil, paper filter (so i can drive while recharging the K&N), cap and rotor combo. I'll bring the car back here, then test out the TPS sensor to see if hte voltage is reading correctly, hopefully after fixing those problems my issues may go away....also thinking of getting a fuel pressure tester, but the pumps just a tad over a year old, and if its crapping out already, then i'll be more than upset.
PS-
The problem = under light or hard acceleration there is a hesitation that comes in and the RPM's have a difficult time maintining. The problem also exists with idle, andi t's a tad erratic, at first i thought i had a problem with a faulty or failing tach, but at this point, i'm thinking that those initial thoughts were mistaken.
Any other help would be appreciated.

check your pickup col while the cap is off, & reluctor ring too. Check wiring for tps as much as you can. Hook up to dvm & twist wires around looking for "secret" fault.

went ahead and did a lil' tune on the car. I put in the paper filter, changed off the ignition coil, added some of that injector cleaner (STP) to the tank, did a TB clean up, also cleaned the MAF to make sure it was good and working, and tried to pull any codes. Didn't find codes, car runs, has a slightly bumpy idle in the tach, which is what it's had for a while now, haven't gotten to drive it yet, but will once work is over and we'll see if it's any better or not...hopefully it is, 60 bux later.
