junkyard treasures...

Well while going throught the yards last week (gettting and engine for a swap in another car) I saw a few 4ths setting around.

I go and look at them... 4 yes 4 3.4's with under 70K one under 50K. All seemingly in one pice and undamaged. I also spot a series 2 3800...

I asked the guy how much he would want for them...

my pick at $400! considering I am also going this Friday/Saturday to blow $400 or so on this other engine....

So yes, it looks very well possible that I will be doing 2 swaps this spring...

Also, this is the same yard that I found a nice 88 that I have gotten the parts for my 92 from...
so far...
2 doors
Front turn signals
License plate bracket
Rear decklid and spoiler
Various bolts/screws
Ground effect retaining bolts/brackets
and looking at a passanger fender lip to weld over my damaged right rear lip.
So far I am up to around 275 for all this stuff... not bad huh?
Though he wants 30 for the fender... might be getting that monday or so....

You should buy all 4 and sell them on ebay starting at $500 plus shipping.

Near St Louis.
Yes I am getting one before this summer.
Others, if you are interested I will check on Freight charges for you, or I can find out the ZIP and you can check yourself.

I will not garantee the prices will be $4-500 As i said, I am going later this week to get an engine already, so I asked and he cut a deal.
