Distributor and Rotar

Today i had an extra hour so i decided to do my distrubutor rotor and wires, i got the distributor off and was trying to find out how to get the rotor off but i cant. My hanes manual said to just unscrew it but i have no idea where to do that there are no places to screw the actual rotor down do i have to take out the whole unit the rotor is attached to.
Thanks
Mitchell

It just pulls off. You gotta tug HARD, and then skin your arm on the firewall lip.

Yes, its PITA, but it pulls strait up. If you have a small hammer, tap on the bottom side upwards.

yes...scary...sharp metal cowl.....wear gloves if you have any. i think its safer if you use your forearm as a lever (using intake as pivot).
