2.8-3.1-3.4...

what is the main difference in these ....
are they essentially the same engine, each 30 over the previous?

what are all the mods to be done, to get any spare hp out of them?

Engine: 3.1...not hardly stock
Transmission: 700r4....not stock either
Axle/Gears: 3.73
3.1 is a 2.8 with a longer stroke. a 3.4 is a 3.1 bored farther than you can safely bore a 3.1 block. you can do any mods to one of these engines as you can any other engine its just that parts are not as readily available. i think i'm making over 200 hp at the flywheel on my 3.1 but that's with extensive mods.
