Engine: tpi 5.7
Transmission: 700r4
neeed help .95 grand prix se

My wifes car started acting up this week.95 grand prix se 4dr 3.1 ..The car starts to run rough when hot and the ses light comes on. I checked hoses and vac lines ok .How can I pull a code on this car ?? Is it like our 3rd gen f bodys?Thanks for any info . 138k auto

Not realy thirdgen related, but...
Sounds like a bad coil to me (or one on its way out). Without knowing what code it is, there's alot of things possible. When you say "hot" do you mean overheating?

It runs at about 210.At start up it runs fine then starts to spudder and surges.Ses light comes on?? It only starts when hot 210' Thanks .is the coil common ??

OBD-II cars can't be checked with the paperclip method.. need a scanner or datalogging setup.

Non-thirdgen lock.
