What does this fuel pump dampener look like?
Ok I managed to get the fuel pump out thru the cut out (do it at home type) without cutting into my lines at all.
I was very happy, took some work but not much.
I read where Tom P was talking of a pump dampener part and he said if you dont buy a new one dont reuse the old one.
What does this part look like so I can get rid of it since I am not replacing this part,
Help is always great
Thanks guys
Donnie H.

DHays, it's going to be a kind-of-rectangular piece that sits between the pump itself and the metal fuel feed line.
Wow, bingo- check out this link on page 5- http://www.rbinc.com/cover-installerPDFfront.pdf

I didnt remove that part pressure is good but car is still acting up around 220
uhhh oh!!!!
I put mine back together with that part still in there(crap!) Fuel pressure is great now tho.
It was really low before, but now I am still having the same issues here, it only seems to act crazy when it gets up to around 220 and seems to be worse when the fan kicks on also, and then it wants to idle really low and chug like its gonna go dead, hasnt went dead since the fuel pump but I think it would have today if I hadnt gave it some gas.
She only tends to do this when your at a stop or switching between drive and reverse? I did the whole tune up btw and the car does run a ton better now if I could cure the warm running issues with her.
I am really really thinking of just tradeing her off since she has been nothing but reliable since day one, I love the car but since its the only one that I have now cant really trust it to get the job done day to day.
I also have cleaned the IAC valve back when i first got the car and it didnt seemto help much either so I dont think its that and I am getting no codes (someone please help me) no reason for her to act this bad with only 81k
I await everyones thoughts on the matter
Thanks again everyone
