venom

does venom make those modules for are cars? do they work with after market chip and ignition? also what gains will i see from one

I have looked at the Venom 400 kit for the 3rd gen V6 and it looks prety cool, but cost is some thing like $400.00.

They say you will see better improvments with an after market chip as it modifys the values coming in from the sensors and then sends them to the computer. One nice feture of it is that it has an on off switch with an led indicator. So that way if you need to pass emisions or want to return to normal for in traffic driving you can.

I have no idea what values it modifys or to what extent as they do not list that info on there site. You may want to e-mail them for the info just so you don't end you buying $400 worth of snake oil!

Agreed...$400 is too much to spend for just a computer mod on one of these. You'll probably feel a gain....but not $400 worth of gain. Like FBod said...buy a used nitrous kit or something...jet it for a 50 shot. You could run a 50 shot easily....
