A vacum saliod will usually set off a code 32. But test this item first, i new one is not cheap I also have this on my car and thought it was the egr, but i put my hands under the egr, and pushed the diaphram up, so it was fine, i asked a mechcanic who is very good and he said if its cod e32, its that saloid. Hope this helps man

If you got a 2.8 wouldn't that be Vacuum? I thought those were cheaper then the electrical ones that come on the 3.1. I was also under the impression that it's not something you need which is why mine has gone unfixed for so long.
