for how rare that blower is you probably wont find an answer here. how about some general questions? how long has the blower been on? how many miles? how old is the belt? is the tensioner actually doing its job?

Holy blast from the past...
Unofficial diagnosis based on first impression of crap pictures: The left tensioner appears to be bent back towards the engine from fatigue, loose mounting bolts, and/or poor design, which would cause exactly what you described. Replacement of the pulleys with ones that have higher shoulders would help, but ensuring those tensioners are straight is paramount. B&M's tensioner system does not appear to be well designed, I'd suggest fabricating some reinforcement between additional hard points of the block or head to help keep them straight. More pictures with better lighting would be required to confirm this diagnosis.
I'd also seriously suggest throwing this question at the power adder board, with more/better pics.
One question.. is that another S-10? :P

Ya ever noticed that most posts you find in a search are more than 90 days old? Wouldn't you find it frustrating if you were trying to find info on roots blowers if all you could dig up were dead ebay links? I know it's ticked me off once or twice. ThirdGen.Org has a total anti-ebay policy which some moderators allow to be bent. My conditions for it being bent are that the item must be a hard-to-find 60 degree part (generally, superchargers are so far the only thing I've let slide), and a full description of the item with useful pictures MUST be posted with the link so that future searches are worthwhile.
