New injectors poor mpg now....

I changed my fuel injectors to rebuilt ones and also changed my stat (180*) ,fan switch (FS6, the one with the lowest temp rating) and coolant. Now I'm getting 100km less per tank! I used to get about 400-420km with 45litres in the tank. this last time I only got 300. Whats going on here? The car starts up right away now (found a leaky injector when did the replacement), but still get a strong smell of some kind of burning/exhaust (noticeable when turn on heat) and car is at a stop. Is the cat supposed to get very hot compared to rest of exhaust? I'm out of ideas for this car. Everything I've fixed/replaced has done nothing to improve the way my car runs.

Leave your heater on max ac. As long as the heat slider is set to hot, it will blow hot air and the AC wont work.

Max ac is the only setting that closes the fresh air vents. It will stop the smell from coming in the car.

I've already changed the FPR and I can't move my slider all the way over (caught somewhere when I changed the heater core). I don't have AC.
