A few questions
First off I was wondering if a 3.4l with no accessories for $300 - $500 was a good deal or not. The local junkyard here said $600 for one with 110k miles on it. http://www.tacreationsusa.com/ has'em for $300 - $500. Secondly I was wondering how much all the stuff you need to put a t-5 in usually costs. They have a world class t-5 listed for $300 with shifter. I was wondering what all the other stuff would cost, which brings me to the last question. My 700r4 has a mild slip, I notice it but most other people don't. I was planning on rebuilding it with a probuilt rebuild kit but was told I would need about $1100 worth of specialty tools to be able to have my buddy who's a ford master tech rebuild it. 2 different teflon ring installers. Servo length check tool, quality bushing driver set, 2 lip seal protectors, front pump puller, universal spring compresser and a bench mount spring compressor, lip seal tool, and pump body alignment tool. If I really need all this stuff I might as well just buy a new tranny from pro built for $1700, it'll be $1600 anyways.
Kind of long question I suppose but any info would be greatly appreciated.

300-500 is reasonable price for 3.4 with that milage.
T5, when I was looking around, I was quoted 800 for EVERYTHING. tranny, bell, used clutch, shifter, peddle, ecm, hydros.. :bla:
I am up to about 550 right now piece parting it together(minus clutch and console plate). Let me tell you, its a PITA to find everything.

the website in my first post has pedals for approx $50, bellhousing with hyrdrolic slave for $35, linkage for $50 and the lower shift boot for $10 but I dunno about the rest of the stuff. www.fbodymotorsports.com has used flywheels for $75 which I don't know what a new regular one would go for, I know new lightweight is like $500. Then Clutch and the other misc stuff I would need. Fbodymotorsports.com also has an entire setup for $850 and I didn't know if it would be cheaper or close to just peice it together myself since I have a feeling a world class t-s is better then the other ones that were put in the older cars...
