after driving the car all dady monday here in the city

everyone wanted over 150 just for the R-12 freon
labor and system test was extra 100+

???????????? WTF ???????????

so after about the 8th local shop
i remeber see small can's of this stuff in a few local
mom and pop shop's

so to make a long story short
@ 10 a can & 15 for the conector

my system is now kicking out a steady 55 degree's

Where have you been? R-12 has been expensive(and getting even higher) for several years, ever since they stopped making it.

You should stock up on R-134a, it is getting expensive. Dupont stopped making it a while ago. We use 100 pound tanks here at work and the price has doubled since last year.

 

I just picked up a case of the r-12 for long term storage
i'll worry about upgrading when i have to
