IT'S ALIVE, oh it's alive :)

I have to share. A month or two back I bought this v6 bird for parts. I've already snatched the rear for my Formula, but I like the v6 and wanted to get it going again. It hadn't been run in like 6 or 7 years. I finally got it started yesterday. I had to replace the fuel pump(got the corvette pump). The gas had gummed pretty bad, that is why the old pump failed.

It still has many other problems, busted top, terrible paint, nasty interior, problem with the title too, but still, it's not dead yet!

soon, I shall be saying the same thing to either:

a) have it catch fire again

or

b) get deployed in Jan & come back to it not starting......again

First place I would have been running is to Motor Vehicles to get a clear title...
How did you dispose of the old fuel?

lol, I live in VIRGINIA, I doubt I'll ever get a clear title to this car. I just put the pump in it so that I could have it mobile. If I can get a title I'll fix her up, if I can't I'm not sure what to do, I'd hate to scap it. . ..

Most of the gas is in a gas can right now. My Dad used some of it to burn some brush/posin ivy with.

I stil have 5 gallons of the crap though, do you know of a place I might be able to turn it in for recycling?

Look for recycling days in your area, like paints & such.
And don't doubt mixing with lawn mower for mowing isn't bad suggestion.
Add better gas to bad gas & have at it.

That would be my last resort. I don't know about getting one from a boneyard though, probably wouldn't be able to get a title for it either if it had already been junked.

I'm hoping of a legal way to get it. Or at least semi legal.

get a slavage title if you eed to. I had my own problems w/title as I didn't get it switched over until it was road worthy, & the previous owner had died (murdered, depending on who you talked to) and OH has some notorized crap to deal with.
