Trueleo Intake with a V8 Throttle Body

Wow, I haven't been here in while...

I see much has been improved and more parts for us to play with..

anyways...I was checking out the trueleo intakes with the short runners and I think those would really help my car breathe,

My question is, would it hurt my performance if I asked them to intall a V8 throttle body, that way I can install a better ram air intake on my car....

oh, and What happened with the exhaust manifolds that pacesetter was making....did they ever finish off all the fittings and the differences between the pre 89 and the early 90's F-Body's ......

I would really appriciate if some one would get back to me on that, since i got extra money to spend on the car now, and I'm hurting for a little umph....

far as I know, they have not made a 90-92 set of headers.

Depending on which v8 TB you go to, it would be way to much unless your turboed. But I dont see any intake on a v8 that you really cant adapt upto a v6??

shannon (redraif) and i are the only 2 that have the intakes, we both are running mustang 5.0(83-93) 65mm throttlebodies. prety much any tb will work with the intake, they just need the throttlebody to make the flange. i would suggest getting with shannon after she is done getting her's on and running, there is a little fab work that she might be able to help you with that i can't because she has a firebird, and really i am not too farmiliar with them.
really i am the only on with the thing fully on and running for now.... though my engine is out of the car for a clutch replacement, it still (contrary to popular belief) runs and runs strong!!!!!

Any monoblade throttle body could be made to work with the right flange, but the Ford ones were attractive because they are available in a variety of sizes (from well down in the 50's on lo-po 302s, up to around 105mm and many sizes in between), they're readily available aftermarket, they're cheap (compared to say a TPI or LS1 throttle body), and there are adapters available to adapt a GM IAC.
