Possible Fuel Injectors

Well I finally got my car back together and here we go again. Now when starting up it sounds like the valves are tapping. Did the screw driver test and its louder coming from the pleneum. Possible injectors but I also just replaced the cam and when listening to the valve covers sounds normal. I am at my wits end and will be taking it to the shop since I am tired of it.

Seems to be my best deal. I want to drive my car not work on it. I've had it for a year and have driven it a total of 1 month. Everytime I get done I think of something else to do while I'm working on it. So I will let someone else get it right so I don't get any ideas. This is a very expensive hobby. LOL

Yep you have bad injectors. I too had to have them replaced. The only other thing it might be is a loose bolt on your exhaust manifold. But if the noise is coming from the plenum chances are your injectors are shot. I picked up a new set of 21lb accel injectors off of Summit for about $200. You could have the stock ones cleaned, but I would just spring for the new ones and not have to worry about used parts.
