help please

hey guys first time poster here was wondering if you guys can help me on this? i was driving home last night and at a stop light the car almost stalled and the rpm's went to 1500 then the ses light comes on. so today i retrive the code and it comes up 44, well that's funny i just put in a new o2 sensor 2 months ago, also i go check for vacum leaks and don't find anything still try's to stall at a stop every now and agian but only when it's in closed loop. Can't figure it out any help greatly appreciated. if i have been to vague let me know and i will give more detail if possible

Did anything hit the 02 sensor? I had just replaced mine once and a few months later it had a big dent in the side of it. Disconnect your battary for a few minutes and then see if it still pulls that same code.

Thanks i did that just now seems to idle a lot better i'll post later to say how it goes when i take it for a drive. earlier today i noticed that it was having a slight miss in one of the cylinders at idle also.
