quick question

im know everyone knows the engine, so the tee fitting on the back of the intake manifold(circled) on my engine, wont stay tightened. and it constantly created a vacum leak. i have another manifold(two or three i think), should i just replace the manifold? Is that fitting messed up? anyways tell me what you think. thanks.

i know the pic is bad, but i know you guys know what im talking about so pic quality isnt important.

i would just throw some locktight on it. but i have never had that problem.....

you do mean it works it way out slowly, not pops out as soon as it goes in right?

hope this helps

Just put some RTV on the threads and let it dry for a few hours.

all of the above, or even the ever handy teflon tape. THreadlock would probably e best, as it would keep it from rotating if you had to do any disconnecting of the vacuum hoses.

Well........

you see, i have tried threadlock, RTV, and there is teflon tape/ threadlock on it right now. it doesnt pop out, but slowly seems to get loose. it cant really rotate, im thinking the threads are messed up. i have another manifold, that i have been working on(to make it nice looking) i think ill throw that on when im done. as you can see in the picture, it has taken me some time to get the ridges and stuff off of it. Just need to polish it up.
