I found a 3.4 5-speed Camaro for cheap and was wondering how hard it would be to swap everything over... Would all the tranny stuff swap or would I need 3rd gen stuff?? Also would it be better to use the 3.4 ECM and everything like the coilpacks instead of mine with the dizzy? Does anyone know if a Fageol supercharger would mount onto the 3.4.. and if it does what should I expect in gains power wise? Thanks guys..

Should all bolt up since a 3.1 and 3.4 are the same block and the tranny should bolt up fine and you should be able to use all the stuff from the camaro. The ECM thing well if you want it to just run stock use the 3.4ecm, but if you wanna tune it a bit then do the Dizzy thing. Supercharger...I donno...power, 3.4 has 160 hp and 3.1 has 140hp and i am sure you will notice the power differance...Project 2.8 probably could answer that question the best!!

Well how would I use the distributor set-up.. I dont think the 3.4 has one. Im checking the car out Friday morning... Ive never seen the 3.4 up close before so sorry if my questions sound stupid.. With the 5-speed, would the clutch pedal and other things of that sort be the same?

the 3.4 doesnt come w/ a dizzy but has the half oil pump in there w/ a plug on top of it. you take the plug out and drop the dizzy from your 3.1 in it and it will run good. and about the supercharge i have no clue. i havnt found anything in the way of turbo kits of superchargers for a 3.4

if you are running stock stick with coil packs, they rock. or get an aftermarket computer so you can tune the coil packs
. thats a bit much to spend on a v6 though
