You'll never know the difference, but why are you taking it out? It stores vacuum to keep your vents in the proper position and to keep the Cruise Control working at low vacuum situations

Yeah I don't have cruise control either- and I have a standard (no tilt) column with normal (no delay) wipers. The guy at the dealership was a little surprised on that when I picked up a new ignition cylinder. Works for me!! I don't need that "fancy" stuff
