next mods
ive got a 3.4 in my 86 firebird M5, after i put my new ported and polished heads on next week, what does anyone recommend i get next, i know headers on on that list, but hoe effeticive whould they be. i have a pretty free flowing side exhuast, K&N, and no smog or a/c though i will remove the evaporator and condesor soon, erg is unplugged, and i may remove the honeycomb from under the bumper while its off when i put my new one on, is full synthetic fluids(motor/trans/rear), i also have poly torque arm/ trans bushings. my friend who is a BAD driver and knows little when it comes to overall car knowledge and modding thinks the 1997 automatic convertable rustang he may get will wipe the floor with me, and i dissagree

If your daily driving it, I would not recommend removing the honey comb. I've seen pics of third gens on drag strips where the front is caved in from removing it.
Headers and cam are your two biggest improvements that you can do with normal tools. Next would be heads, and not everyone has them tools or knowledge.
