where is fuel pump relay

Engine: 3.1L
Transmission: auto
no fuel

i have a 92 rs with the 3.1L and there doesn't seem to be getting fule to the engine (((fuel gauge shows no pressure)))

i disconnected the fuel lines and tryed turning the ignition on and off and no fuel came out of the lines...(the fuel pump was just replaced 6 months ago so im thinking it is just the relay) replaces the relay and still no start thinking it is the pump ... how hard is it to get tank down and check the pump?

Engine: 5.7 LS1
Transmission: 6 SPD.
Axle/Gears: 3.25
check your fuses, you might have a blown fuse, my friend has a 88 iroc and replaced the in-tank fuel pump and shortly the fuel didnt go through your situation.. the problem was there was a blown fuse located in the engine compartment around the radiator sub-tank that led to this one fuse, your relay(s) should be located at the top right, of your engine compartment, which are your fan relay your tpi relay and your fuel pump relay(2nd from left to right) .. it was replaced (the fuse) and it started right up! also check your hook up giving juice to the fuel pump, it might sliped out of place.. if that doesnt help.. recomend buying the Hayes camaro bible.. tells ya everything you need to know. and where everything is at.. u can get one in pep boys.

checked the fuse(looked good but replaced it anyway)
checked the wires they are connected
changed the relay still nothing thinking it is the pump
what has to be done to drop the tank?

well it is pretty easy actually.. need a lift, if not, raise the car up as high as possible, drain the fuel tank, unbolt the feeding pipe mouth of the fuel tank, disconnect the fuel lines, disconnect the fuel pump wire (located next to the pump) note: use a volt meter to see if there is power going to the fuel pump. drop the two metal straps holding your tank, drop the tank, you gotta play with it to get it free, turn the bracket holding the fuel mechanism in place, flat head screwdriver.. replace the fuel pump and presto! also a better way to change your fuel pump is to cut a "L" shape right underneath the tank. if for some reason you cant get a reading from the volt meter (make sure your ignition is on the "on" position) then check your fuse box. and wiring. hopefully it works!

Transmission: Bright Red, never burnt, no leaks
Axle/Gears: currently whining
please correct me if im wrong but i thought ya had to drop the rear end compleatly to change fuel pump,,ive done jobs that needed a new fuel pump on 90's models chevys and a few times after compleat replace ment thay failed
I once had auto zone tell me i was not the only one,on that particular day the dude said 40 ppl in the past week complaind same prob\

any way what im saying is its not uncomon to have new part's fail right away., just be thankfull its not a trany or motor lol
