I'm 15 and i just bought a completely stock 89" V6 5speed RS Camaro...and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what size motor it came with....I've been looking and im gettin the idea that it was a 305 but that is all i can find.....but the car is in extremly good condition with metallic blue paint...but i need 2 get new hydralic pumps or w/e it is for the hood and the trunk...but any help is appreciated...thanks

Engine: 2.8L V6 MPFI
Transmission: Beat to heck 700R4
2.8L (aka 170 ci)
a 305 would be the stock V8, (aka 5.0L)

Your talking about the "shock towers" for the hatch... Simple fix - bolts at the bottom and top. ALL hatches have worn out the stock shock towers by now, junkyard for a good replacement, or just take one out and bring her into a parts store.

gas shock, gas struts are what ur looking for.
the hood one is a bit cheaper than the trunk.
