Injectors won't come out!

I got an extra fuel rail to play with to get ready when I replace my injectors. They WILL not come out whatsoever! I turned the locking clip halfway and all the way and the injector does'nt budge. Does the locking ring come out with the injector or does it stay with the fuel rail? I don't see anything else holding the injectors in besides the clip. Anyone have this trouble?

Ken

The locking clip needs to be removed. Rotate it then carefully pull it out of the injector groove. The injector should then pull free from the rail. Keep rags under the injectors as fuel usually pours out.

When placing the new injectors into the rail and manifold use oil on the O rings. Then once the rail is bolted down run the fuel pump and check for fuel leaks. Then put the rest together.

Best of luck and let us know how it runs with the new injectors.
