3.4 ecm question

Quick question. If I swap in the 3.4, can I also swap in the ecm to use the DIS? Will it work with my 91 gauges, etc.? Thanks

Oh and yes I searched but all I found was info on using the 2.8/3.1 intake with the distributer.

I was tossing around the idea. But I just found that its doable but there would be a problem with my VATS system. Any other problems I missed?

vats might not be an issue, being that your car already has it & my 94 also has it. Dash wiring should be cut & splice in to your guages.

I was wondering the same thing. I just picked up my 3.4 yesterday, it was a sweet deal. The guy gave me the wiring harness and the ECM too, all for 150. I was telling him what I was planning on doing and he said just change the plugs at the firewall. He did the 3.8 swap in his 93 and it looks good. Now there he had to do all his wiring but said the 3.4 & 2.8 from he firewall to the intrenal harness its the same. I'm not too sure about that.
