Going to attempt to rebuild my tranny.

Hello. I am looking at several rebuild kits and I just need to know if I need to get a V6 specific kit or are they all the same V6 and V8 700-R4's. I know that they have different bell housings. I am just worried about the internals. I am looking at this B&M kit that includes a shift kit on summit racing and it doesn't say anything about weather its V6 or V8. Here is the link.

Thanks in advance.

Any other suggestions are welcome (other than don't waste your money get a V8...lol...Seriously don't... ) I plan on doing a 3.4 swap like I did in my other Camaro.

get a rebuild kit that will have the most upgrades for the tranny (i.e. through the yrs, GM made improvements to the internals) . v6/v8 shouldn't make a difference.

It shouldn't, but the bands in the V8 700R4 are thicker. I would think that if you swapped over V8 internals it would shift too hard.

When my V6 700R4 finally gives I'm going to do the same thing though! Then put a turbo on it....
