Its been a long time, quick question
hey guys,
My friend has a 1987 Camaro, and no SES code has gone off, but it wont idle right. Does anyone have a picture of the Vacuum lines going to the charcoal canister??
It appears that the previous owner messed around with them and something doesn't look quite right. I remember I had a vacuum related problem, that caused my 87 firebird to idle rough and sometimes backfire in the 1200-2000 rpm range. I think my friends is a similar problem.
Might as well catch up some, I use to browse this board back in the day of Ked85 doing his 3.4L swap, TomP was the tech guru and doing a turbo'd 2.8 was only a dream. The 2.8 was a great starter car. Since then, I had a 1996 3.8L, keeping my V-6 love up, but then I switched to the V-8, I saw a 1995 LT1 for $7000 last year, so I bought that. But I remember being on a budget trying to get every last inch of power from my little 2.8. I see guys are still going for turbo's and minor build ups. Trying to get that 200 hp from these engines. That is awesome.
