Are you looking for domed pistons to increase you compression, or dished pistons to decrease your compression? There are easier ways to increase compression without rebuilding your engine.

see i dont know which i want to run i was think dish because i've been told that the gasoline combusts more completely more quickly due to the design of the dish. its supposed to bounce back up and combust down in a cone shape with a large discharge area at the bottom. Im not sure exactly how the fuel should come of off the dome but i think i do want a higher compression ratio. my engine is stock and im not putting power adders on the 2.8 because it really doesnt make sense to im not going to get that much out of a $1000+ set up and when i switch to a 383 the chances that the pipe will be right is so slim that it doesnt make sense to waste the money on piping twice.

Sorry to sound like an idiot but what does a higher compresion ration =
because know has ever really told me where to look to find out or even explained it but i know you should go lower for a sc or turbo.

If you are going to stay naturally aspirated, you can put a 3400 FWD top end on and get 11.xx compression with thicker head gaskets. To do this, though, you are going to need to have good fuel management and run only high test gas.
What exactly are your plans for the car, go with a V8 or hop-up the 6 banger?!
