My car wasnt going over 75 and then when i left pepboys today with **** for an oil change it wouldnt go over 60 then it stalled and the wheel locked while i was changin lanes and i got lucky not to hit the gaurd rail. White smoke started rising from under my hood and the car wouldnt start then when i finally did start it stall when i let the rpms drop under 1200. By the time i got it the one mile to my house it wouldnt go faster then 25 and is bucking like crazy.
I dont know what it is! i just changed the spark plugs to autolite xps and thats the only thing ive done.

sounds liek u blew out a radiator hose and overheated the engine pretty badly. if the motor is cool now go open the radiator cap and see if theres any water/antifreeze in it
thanks that seems to be what everybody is saying but i just really didnt think it was that because i havent seen any coolant anywhere even in my friends spotless driveway. ill deffinately check it though and im bringing it in to be fixed tomorrow.
im leaking coolant from somewhere and badly. I have white smoke coming out of my exhaust so now im hoping its not a head gasket or something like that. But yea im down to about 2/3 of the coolant i should have and i filled it a week ago maybe a week and a half.

first off check your hoses. make sure no leaks. if not that... there are only a few other places in your 2.8/3.1. that would be the lower intake... and it is a YOU KNOW WHAT to fix. just hope its not a head... heh. or hell, you may just have what i had, a bad radiator. mine smoked for a few months until it blew up (literally)... so i got an aluminum radiator from a 5.7 and tossed it into my v6. i made my own lines from the ones i had + metal pvc pipes from lows. the upper takes 1 1/4, lower takes 1 1/2 is what i think. or was it 2 1/4 and 2 1/2? somethin like that. whatever fits into your hoses. now instead of 180-230 on the hwy... 140 flat. also tossed a 180 thermostat in there from the stock 195.
