Distributor?

Hey guys, i have a chance to get a 1988 distributor out of a 2.8 with only 61,000 miles on it. Would this work in my 1989 2.8? They seem the same but I want to just make sure before handing $60 out for it. Thanks!

Was it in a wreck or something? That's low miles for a JY.

yeah, unfortunately it was. To bad because it was a really nice one too. The body was perfect and whole (till I got my hands on it lol)

I think it hit the back of a truck or something. The impact beam was in place and looked good, but the radiator support was pushed up to the engine.
