Shifting noise

Today i punched the gas pedal at a red light. I got the normal rear end bounce ( hopefully just wheel hop ) but when it went to shift into second i believe it made a bang noise. What could that possibly be? i know my u - joints are bad could that be it? Also how can i eliminate the wheel hop ? car is a 92 camaro 3.1 automatic. Thanks!!!

Re: Shifting noise

sound sliek u may have broke the transmission mount, its actually comon to do.

is ur car lowered? if so u need a set of lca relocation brackets and an adjustable panhard bar mount to fix the wheelhop.

how are the shocks in the back? have a broken endlink on the swaybar ?

Re: Shifting noise

no the car isnt lowered. How can i check the transmission mount ( know its a dumb question but i dont know ). The rear shocks were replaced about 500 or so miles ago. The rear end has been riding rough latley, maybe a spring is broke.
