i was doing a compression check when i notices that a couple of my hoses were snapped,one from the carbon canister where it says purge...i have no idea where this goes.also two that go to where the throttle body is i have no idea what they are called but i would like to know of this can affect my engine running correctly?????

 

Yes the second one will efect your vaccum. Go to the part store and get some vaccum hose and repair the broken area's

 

either look at the under side of your hood for the vac diagram or check out Original Performance w an 87 2.8 V6 wanted I put a link for all the diagrams.
