if so many people have third gen sixers how come more companies havnt recognized us and made that many performance parts? cuz i kno if a company made a set of aluminum heads or a better intake manifold just about every person in this forum would buy them

Has anyone tested this mckinney intake?
Has anyone used the truleo?

Mckinney says on their car it dropped 3/10ths of a second off the 1/4 with
no ecm tuning at all.

 

If you look at the numbers of 3rd Gens with V8s Vs. V6s, there would be many many more V8s. Most people buy F-bodys for power and to have a V8...with that being said, a lot of V6s are being pulled and V8s dropped in. There is no where near the demand for V6s parts like the the V8 market has.
Us V6 fanatics are a little "different" Anyone can make big power from a V8. (Although I still love V8s...and will probably have a monster V8 one day.)


Could be cheap if you build it right...but it is not easy.


I heard mixed reports of that intake. Some said that it flowed outstanding...and some said that it sucked because the air lost all its velosity where the intake met the LIM. Now it you were to mix the Truleo with a turbo it would probably be a killer intake.
