fireing problem

ok i got an 83 camaro and i jsut replaced, my plugs, wires, cap and rotor. it was running before now it wont start. i checked the threads and did what u guys recommended but it didnt work. i found where my rotor is pointed and put my wires on in the firing order and it wouldnt even hit. so i moved it over one towards the driver side and a few plugs hit (the poppin sound) but no firing. so i moved it over another and nothing fired.. idk what the problem is you guys have any clue?
