Lifter tick?

The car has developed a lifter tick, I think, over the past couple of days. Before I sink some money into this cam swap I wanted to be sure that it isn't something else causing this. I'm not sure of the miles on the motor but the car runs nice and strong. The car is just shy of 150K on it.

About 3 weeks ago I put some comp cams roller tip 1.6 roller tip rockers on the car, don't know if these can cause oiling issues.

When driving I don't hear it till I have been driving for several minutes then it kind of comes and goes. On the way home today it was very loud on the highway (70 mph) but once I got back on regular roads (35-55 mph) it seemed to go away. Once I got home and parked the car the tick kind of went away at idle. After I cut the car off and turned it back on the tick went away.

The car is due for an oil change (after cam break in) and the oil pressure is reading real low once the tick develops. When I was on the highway the pressure was barely at 40 maybe 30 and when the car is idling the oil psi is pretty close to zero.

When I crack the engine open this weekend what should I look for before I go replacing parts. I just turned the car on, sat for about 3 hrs, and the tick isn't there and the oil psi is just under 40. I can't hear anything out of the ordinary on the motor with a screwdriver. The tick is like a very loud ticking injector.
