Car: 1989 Firebird Formula 350
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
Timing while driving.

I got an Autoxray scanner the other day and decided to take it for a test drive. I saw what all my sensors said, cat temp., injector pulse, etc... I noticed the spark advance was around 28*. Why does the ECM ramp it up so much?
