92' RS 3.1 Rear end
Hey does anybody know why my camaro tends to spin the right rear tire more than the left?
If I power brake it or just stomp the gas and turn them loose it does it. Could it possibly be that the oil in the rear end is low or my rear brakes are tighter on the one side? BTW I have the stock rear end.

oh, ok. I just thought that even the stock rear-end should at least spin both tires if you are in a straight line. like I said, even if I just stomp the gas most of the time it only spins the right tire.

Re: 92' RS 3.1 Rear end
I hear this alot that the V6's didn't have a limited slip or posi rear end. But I'm almost sure mine has posi. When I burnout both wheels spin. The few times I've brake torqued it on dirt it dug holes with both the wheels. Did any V6's come with posi?

no v6's shiped with a posi rear.
even with an open rear it is possible to spin both tires depending on the conditions more then likley it happens on wet roads , gravel sand etc.

Re: 92' RS 3.1 Rear end
haha a trans am turbo is very rare! Ive actually never ever seen one in person. Ive seen turbo'ed trans am's but no trans am turbo. But project is right no v6 came stock with limited slip rear ends. K-slice im guessing who ever you bought the car from added it after the fact. Lucky you...i wish i could afford to drop 300 bucks on a limited slip. But at the same time if im giong to drop 300 mind as well drop 700 and get a 350 and build that up next winter for the bird :-)
