A ticket and proud of it!

My car has been running ok for the past 2 weeks but from the previous 3 yrs I have had the car it was so so. One week it was a dream to drive and the next it was a citation. Finally I'm proud to say that its running like a champ so last night I decided to give it a little test. Now granted the roads were still a little wet from the rain but I decided to punch the gas and see what it would do. So on my way back home from dropping a friend off I floored it and she actually burnt a lil tire through every gear. I was amased b/c for as long as I have had it she has never done that before.

Needless to say there was a cop sitting in the parking lot at the light I went through on Independance Blvd that saw the whole thing. He walks up to me smiling and said you just finished working on her I would guess. After agreeing and him telling me about his 89 stank stang I thought I was off scott free. He runs my information we chat some more and then he lays the hammer on me and give me a ticket for 10 over the speed limit which wasn't too bad.

Oh well it sure was fun. next time I will check the lots beside me if I decide to have some fun again.

Thats just my little happy moment and I hope everyone has as much fun with their cars as I do mines. 3 yrs of hardships are really starting to pay off everytime I drive it.

Still in VA but I use to run down that way in Charlotte when I lived in Raleigh a few years back. Those were the good ole days.
