Help Get My Maro Back!

Ok, I had a blue Camaro. Said car was in my mother and fathers name.

Long story short, car broke down, ended up trading it to a close friend so I knewd it always be nearby.

Well, it was short lived. He got a trade offer for a 87 Nissan 300zx Turbo and took it. So at this point I don't know who has my car or where its at.

Turns out that my buddy nor the person he traded it off to ever registered it in their names. Still in my name.

The 2nd owner got the car impounded running from the police, and now cannot afford to pay the 1st owner.

That was 2 1/2 months ago and the car is still in my name.

About a month ago my father (Whom me and my mother don't live with) gets a letter in the mail telling him that he should come get the car. Problem is that he could care a less about the car and doesn't tell me or my mother about it.

Now the Camaro is sitting in the impound yard with an Impound fee of $2600+ all because my father didn't let me know.

Is there anything I can do to get it back? Loopholes? Anything?

Easy... have your dad pay the fees for not letting you know!
But how did those guys get away with not registering it in their names?

Unfortunately, This is not a legal forum, but a tech forum.

I feel for you and your situation, but your best bet is going to be to contact a lawyer and see what you can do. If you have a tech question please feel free to open another thread, but for now, I'm going to lock this as it has nothing to do with V6 Tech.
