Won't this power steering pump fit my V6 ?

According to the Summit application sheet this pump will only fit V8's.
Other pumps on other vending sites are almost always for all 3th gens, so I can't see why this pump wouldn't fit my V6. I really wanna order at Summit because they keep shipping costs low by shipping all parts in one shipment (rather than Rockauto who ships all parts in various shipments). But I don't wanna be left with a pump I can't use.
