2.8-3800
Ok I just picked up an 87 with a 2.8 and a friend has a 98 with the 3800 he is parting out ( salvaged from wreck). I know they are both 60* V-6's but can the long or short block be swapped for the other? also didnt see much info for the 3800 in the stickies and the ones for the 3x00 were a little confusing.

You could most likely swap the 3800 in as long as you get the trans that came with it. The 3800 is a 90* and i believe the swap has been done plenty of times.

yeah just not sure if I want that much headache. Think I'll just find a good 3.4 and swap it instead.
